This is what the Manhattan wards do on Monday nights. Not that i am a big fan of baseball or anything, but it does sound like a lot of fun. I am sorry to say that i don't have FHE in my life right now, so my Monday nights are spent doing other things, like warming my cold feet with my hairdryer that i still have plugged in from yesterday. Yes, indeed, it is cold here in old Sydney town and i thought i was coming back to boardshorts and a t-shirt, and mangoes in summer. More like, mangoes in ice.
So one week home and i ate the last Tim Tam. It's also still raining and i can't wash the heap of clothes on my floor because there's no sun to dry them in. I wish i had a dryer. Not a hairdryer. I have one of those.
Last Saturday, after 7 or so weeks away from teaching the kids, i had noticed that many of them had grown significantly taller. I mentioned it to one 8 year-old, Dillon, and he replied conifdently " Yes, i know. I've been exercising a lot."
